well if u have brown eyes, stick with the browns, but if u have hints of green or gold, use green or gold accents for eyeshadow. it brings out ur eyesI am stuck in a make-up rut!! I have been using the same color eyeshadow for awhile now. I need a change?
I would go to a make up counter and a department store and have them help you. They are trained for that. Plus you may get some cool free samples.
shades in the gold family would look great on you
blue eyeshadow is pretty - and red lipstick
to find an up-to-date style go through latin fashion mags. they are so much better for finding colors that match a darker skin shade. the regular fashion mags are cover to cover with caucasion women. if you can't find latin mags go to the latin grocery stores.
Well if you have dark hair and light skin, you should use bronze eyeshadow with a lighter pink lip gloss. I saw it in a ';Peoples'; magazine....i know its still brown eyeshadow but
hope i helped : D

Try Almay. They have three different sets of eyeshadow that coordinantes with your eye color. They are very natural and pretty. One for blue eyes, green eyes, brown eyes. They even have matching eyeliner and mascara. I use the green and everyone compliment how it makes my eyes just pop and shine. They are good for any skin color. Plus Almay is Hypo-Allergenic and good for your skin. The eyeshadows come in a set of four colors. You can get them at Wal-mart, walgreens, ...
use peachy light purple something that nicly blends your skin
Don't be afraid of color! Light browns %26amp; taupes are good, but try some gold %26amp; bronze colors - they'll spice it up, but they're not all that different from what you're using now.
Also try some deep purples/plum colors (very in this season) or some olive greens - they'll look natural and very nice with your skin color.
shades of purple do well with deeper toned skin.
Go with golds and bronzes for eyeshadow. They are enough color and neutral enough. Good luck
hwy don't u ask some people u know with the same skin tone what color they use teh might have some great tips
Olive greens, golds, and coppers look great on olive skin. And you can't go wrong with the classic smoky eye or cat-eye effect. Peach is in right now too so you could find a nice peachy-gold, I bet that would look good as well.
I am similar to you and always wear different colors. I use gray shadows, plums are beautiful, green, bronze.
