Go to my website at www.marykay.com/michelle.zimmerman and on the left side click virtual makeover tips and trends for eye applications. You might want to consider an eye primer and we have those. I can hook you up with the right look. Let me know if you need help. michelle.zimmerman@marykay.comWhy dose my eyeshadow want to blend together on my eye?
Don't waste your time with the Touch base from Clinique. I used to use it (I have oily skin including eyelids, and my makeup just wouldn't stay on right). Use the Mary Kay Eye Primer. I also find Mary Kay eye shadow to last longer in general.
You need a good base eye shadow to prevent this.
are you talking about oil %26amp; creasing causing this?? if so I used to have the same problem %26amp; hated it!! Find your nearest store that sells Clinique makeup %26amp; buy the Touch Base for Eyes. This was recommended to me %26amp; even though it's a lil pricey, it is welllllll worth it. I can put that on, put eye makeup on top %26amp; it'll stay looking perfect all night........even my eyeliner that I always had problems with stays in place! =o)
First you need an eye base. Apply foundation over your entire eye lids. Instead of using an eye shadow applicator use an eye brush. First you start out with a light shade of eye shadow like white, tan, beige or anything that is lighter than your skin tone. Then use a darker shade how ever you want to apply it. I normally use 4 or 5 layers of color. I know it's a lot but I get a lot of compliments for it I guess I'm doing an okay job applying them. Anyways when you use a darker shade like baby blue first apply on your top eye lids. then use a much darker shade like a darker blue on your crease. When this is done use an eye shadow brush or those big poofy brushes and just blend them by brushing lightly.
