10 points to whoever can give me the best advice...

thanks...Is my eyeshadow blended right?
It's really iffy. The colors compliment each other well, that isn't the problem. The black is tremendously darker than the gold. In that case, you want to apply slight amounts of the black eyeshadow and blend it in well. The corners of your makeup are too dark. Instead of black eyeshadow, you may want to try a dark brown. It's closer to gold and the colors may blend into each other better.

Blending takes practice. It's difficult to explain actually how to do it. For your situation, I recommend blending the black eyeshadow back and fourth, to lighten it up. Round up the edges, instead of having it in a point. The YouTube link below is of a girl doing a gold and black eyeshadow tutorial. I thought it would be easier to watch somebody apply it than try to apply it by reading words.

you have very pretty eyes... it's not blended perfectly, but it still looks good. to get it perfect,

Step1 dust your eye lids with a small amount of loose powder.

Step2 Select a light base shadow. Using a shadow brush, sweep it across your entire lid, from brow to lash line.

Step3 Use a medium-toned shade to cover your lower lids.

Step4 Contour the crease of your eyelid with a dark shade, using a smaller eye shadow brush. This color can also work as an eyeliner (see the next section for instructions).

Step5 Blend shadow by stroking the lid gently with an eye shadow brush. Don't use your finger, you could wipe off the shadow entirely.

Step6 Use a cosmetic puff and a little pressed powder to tone down heavy shadow. Shake any excess powder off the puff, then press it gently on your lid.
i cant really tell because the pic is not like close up

once you put your eyeshadow as you did in the picture, then take a blending brush, with no product on it and start at the bottom of your crease and do small circle motions all the way inward towards your inner corner of you eye

(i know i described kinda weird, but i hope it helped :))

i think you should have done the gold out of the black so the black eyeshadow would stand out a little more and give out more of an appeal to the outer parts
you could maybe do the black to the center and the gold away from your nose! You could smudge it with a cotton wool bud, thats what i do! It works! :)
you should put a little black eyeshadow on the rim of your eyelid, and then put gold on top of it. smudge them together with a cotton swab! done! (thats wat i do)
Um, nope.......but I can't say how to blend GOLD AND BLACK eyeshadow...but then gold and black eyeshadow shouldn't be in the same sentence, much less on the same eye.
I think the black shadow is too harsh; use a powder to tone down all your shadow. It works for me.
No,try blending a little bit more to get rid of the harsh black =)
