kinda curious..Does chap stick really help eyeshadow stay on?
I use bare minerals foundation on my eyes with a concealer brush to keep my eye makeup stay on, it's really the best method unless you have some professional MAC primer or something like that. Does chap stick really help eyeshadow stay on?
I use to be a makeup artist, chap stick and Vaseline just leaves you with creases after a couple hours. Try to put a thin foundation slightly lighter then your skin tone. Pat it to get any of the excess off with a makeup sponge and then put eye shadow on with a eye shadow brush, not the sponge applicators that come with the eyeshadow.
ahhh. such a cheerleading make-up trick.


it only works if your putting on ultra heavy glittery eye makeup.

but if you want a good base that doesn't crease, I would suggest eyesadow base. You can buy it at stores like Sephora.


Or you can buy hilighter stick. Like Benefit Mr. Frosty or Eye Bright.


I use that.
Chapstick is a little to sticky, vaseline works better, just make sure that it is a VERY thin layer of Vaseline. I used to do makeup for brides and bridesmaids, and the vaseline worked auh-mazing! Just make sure it is a VERY thin layer!
