The best way to have eyeshadow last for long periods of time without fading/creasing is to:

- first apply a primer. you can use one made specifically for the eyes, or just use a face primer over the eye/lid area.

- next, use a cream eyeshadow over the eyelid. this will give something for the eyeshadow to ';stick'; to and not move. I personally love Lise Watier's CARROUSEL cream shadow myself, but anything similar will do. You could also buy just one cream shadow in white/silver instead.

- then, pat the powder eyeshadow onto the eyelid. because of the cream eyeshadow, the powder shadow will not fade or disappear.
Yes, it's called eyelid primer. Urban Decay has a good primer, just called Urban Decay Primer Potion. The bottle is pretty, but don't be fooled! Since it is so oddly shaped, and the wand goes straight in, a lot of the product gets stuck in the curves of the bottle, and you only get about 40% of the product before you think you have ran out. You have to literally saw the bottle in half and scrape out what's left! My suggestion is Too Faced's Shadow Insurance. It's in a tube kind of like toothpaste is and it works miracles!
Eye Primer :)

The best eye primers I've used are:
