Try to compliment the colour/s of your irises - for blue eyes try smoky grey or blue/purple if you want to be bold. Green or hazel eyes stand out with brown eyeshadow, also green but be careful not to overdo it, even with an evening look. Brown eyes can pull off any gold/bronze tones, also mixing in a bit of shimmering pink for highlights.


And remember - the focus of your makeup should be either on the eyes or the lips - not both - so if you're making a work of art out of the eyes then go for a pale, subtle lipstick to avoid looking cheap!
