I've always thought baby blue eyeshadow and red lipstick was pretty tacky. What do you think? What is the tackiest eyeshadow/lipstick color combination?

Just think about Mimi from the Drew Carey Show...
ugly dark red with brown eyeshaow!
dark green eyeshadow and red lipstick
bright pink eye shadow and bright red lipstick=) definitely
I was just about to say that before i opened the question all the way! I dont like red lipstick in general though, most people dont look good with it unless they have perfect skin and are super pale. They look like clowns with that combo.
Red lipstick, green eyeshadow
i agree with you
Baby blue eyeshadow with neon pick lipstick with dyed yellow hair.....
I agree with Iris00..
even vice versa, like red on the eyes %26amp; brown lip stick.
Grossness.
I hate lipstick period! I dont care if it was on the prettiest woman in the world,it would still look ugly to me. I never have seen baby blue eyeshadow but it probly does look tacky with lipstick.
very much so!
Anything overdone is tacky. I think it's gross when people plaster on any shade of makeup don't you? Sometimes less really is more.
check
Red lipstick and blue eye shadow, looks like a hooker.
dont forget light purple with sparkle eye shadow!
:P
i reckon eighties blue eyeshadow and fuschia pink lipstick!!
Ditto!
There are a ton of variables, such as skin tone and hair color, even eye shape. I have very pale snow white skin with black hair so very avant guard make up works with me. For example I'm wearing very loud yellow and green eye shadows (extremely blended with no harsh lines) and candy apple red high gloss lips. It looks amazing. However stick my make up on a tan blond and it's the tackiest thing you can see. BUT generally speaking I can't stand 1960's/70's powder blue shadow with bubble gum pink gloss lips. I think it makes anyone look like trailer park barbie. Make up is subjective tho. There are us ';weridos'; out there that see make up as an art form. To a degree anything other then natural colors are tacky, however it's a fun avenue for female self expression :)
All the cheap creamyish eyeshadows them 12 year old girls wear, especially bright blue. And neon lip colour, overloaded with gloss. Lol
please use another word other then tacky
How bout bright red eyeshadow and then dark lipstick?
ALOT OF THEM! What ever you do just don't mix lights and darks together. That is no way cute. But then again everybody cant wear every color. brights with brights darks with darks and neutrals with neutrals. I have never liked red lipstick so that's not and option for me and definitely not with blue eye shadow. they should do a blush red eyeshadow.

Will orange and green be a good combination for eyeshadow?
What colour must lips be, if it is?
The girl in question has jet black hair with reddish brown streaks and medium brown skin with yellow undertones. She's also 23.Will orange and green be a good combination for eyeshadow?
i think it might be a little much. try like a silver and greenWill orange and green be a good combination for eyeshadow?
hells yea. but blend, girl, blend that sucker so it doesnt know what hit it.
i wouldn't play around too much with the lips though, soft peach or clear gloss
I think its a great one, I actually just bought some makeup in those colors. For her lips I wouldnt use a lip stick, just because her eyes will already be harsh, you dont want lips and eyes all crazy, she'll look like a clown. Go for a gloss in a pinkish/red/orange hue, I know the orange sounds weird, but it will look really good.
its ok combantion the lips will be clear..or this would be cute http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j7-4YAXpR鈥?/a>
actually, it sounds scary! Never seen those colors together b4. Just experiment and see what happens..
i think that uing two combinations are a great use of eyeshadow. orange and green sound like a punky but girly look. color of lip gloss should be.......... a nice shade of red or a pinkish purple
maybe on st patricks day
Generally never. It depends on skin and hair colour too as you say. Experiment keeping it very light. Your makeup should be a complete picture. Concentrate on getting big eye lashes.
Lipstick should be glossy and appear ';wet';.
Good luck.
Orange and green? Sorry, can't picture orange shadow looking good on anyone..
freaky
well it depends if you make it bold that is a great combanation but if you are going for a natural look go for a pink or brown it also depends on your skintone and how you apply it
I think you should just pick one color.
Try green with a rich gold. That's probably as close as you are going to get to what you're looking for. I wear those colors all the time when I rocking camouflage or darker shades of greens with browns. Just make sure you put the green right above your eyelash and the lighter color near the brow. You should certainly keep the lip natural. Like a peach sheer. Mabeline (first kiss) is great for your skin tone.

What is a good eyeshadow color combination for blue eyes?
I use the Almay Intense i-color line for my brown eyes. For blue eyes, they suggest brown for on the lid (for contrast), deep blue for the crease, and light blue for above the crease. They recommend brown liner and brown mascara. The combination of contrasting %26amp; matching colors will bring out your eyes (check out the pic of the model on the bottom of the link). What is a good eyeshadow color combination for blue eyes?

this has some great tips on makeup and what you can use in regards to color. also skin care
Purples [lavenders], silvers, grey, camel, brown, taupe any of them blended well and dark-to-light
Depends on your skin tone actually... Blue eyeshadow on your lid, on light skinned people with blue eyes, always looks to me like you rubbed pool cue chalk over your eyelid, blue eyeliner or accent color is always better (if you must) on blue eyed people.
If you have fair skin and blue eyes, use purples and or earth tones. Beige, red tones, like amber or rust, browns gold's and such... If you have olive skin tone, you can pretty much do just about anything no matter what your eye color is. Olive skin tone is rare in people with blue eyes though so... I suggest the latter. The directions they give you right on the back of the package help in telling you HOW to best apply it, but I don't ever suggest blue as a lid color... ewwww
you know blue goes with anything so try to pick a color that would go good with blue eyes like a light pink or a dark purple
Green or a pale brown or gold will make them stand out, a lght pink will blend them in.
i use deep purple/redish colors. but if you don't think that you would use those colors go to a makeup counter at nordstrom and they should help you!
There is a product by Almay Cosmetics that match the shade of eyeshadow to your eye color.
purple dark blue and green or green purple red
A light pink or purple set works well with blue eyes.
pink...rusty red
I have tried lots of colors because my eyes are blue also. Soft offwhite, vanilla, coppery, apricot, beige and brown seem to bring out mine the best.
Pink, berry-toned, purple, maroon. Try the ones with shimmer in them, they'll really make your eyes pop.
if you have blue eyes and blond hair you want to use light pinks with a little brown in the crease. you can never go wrong with brown...and white...if you have blue eyes and brown hair you can use greens, purples, browns. a great look for the summer for any color hair and blue eyes is a light bronze all over the face with a sparkled brown for the eyes...natural and enhancing
Go to a MAC counter (usually located in Macy's). They have some of the best makeup artist that will make your face up and select products to compliment your eyes and skin. If you choose not to buy their products at least you know what colors to look for. But once you purchase one thing from them, you will go back for more!
anything that pops up on your skin color/eye color.

I am a huuuuuuge fan of shadow quads and trios. I think the best things I've seen so far is, because my eyes change colours very easily, I love the Almay combinations for certain eye colours.
Aside from the Almay colours, I really really really like quads in pinks and greens, but my FAVOURITE is Grey quads!!! :-)
it depends on what your eye color is. look at good fashon magazines and look at what color their eyes are and what eyeshadow they are whearing.
i lOVE all nutral colors together. even like a cole and brown color is hot.
wet n wild creme shadows (from the little squeezy tubes). I usually use the champagne/white-ish color and then lightly dab on a light purple or pink. the outcome? MAGNIFICENT!
for me, it depends on what i'm wearing. i love to use my hot pink eyeshadow with black eyeliner, but of course, that does not go with everything i wear.
my ';everyday'; wear is usually a light silvery color with a med silver/grey. that is if i am wearing black. if i am wearing brown, tan or anything in that shade, i use a shimmery beige, with either a light brown, or a dark rose.
i like to have fun with my colors though. since i live in gainesville, everything is gators, so i like to wear blue and orange eyeshadow for the games. or wear blue with pink whenever i feel like i want funky eyes.
i don't think there is a right or wrong color combination. it's whatever you like.
dark purple with lavender
emerald green with peacock blue
I love makeup, Im a makeup artist well as a hobby, I do all the makeup sometimes according to what Im wearing, or also depending on the occasion. I love smoky eyes...and I like to play with bright colors, specially blue and green.
I am a mary kay consultant and I get my colors from them as well, I always go to the website and get tips and how to mix and match colors

try it =) have fun
Without a doubt it's the Puccini Plum Trio by Borghese. It's pricey but spectacular quality and one compacts lasts an amazingly long time. I find the neutral lid color in that compact to the the best basic color I've found. And there is a slate blue that is perfect for an every day look. They discontinued my second fav, San Sorvino, which was a smokey purple/violet trio. Luckily I have most of a compact left and I've been using it for a over a year already.
Ironically I just posted this in another answer, but years ago I was professionally trained as a makeup artist and I find it's made a huge difference in not only spotting good makeup but in knowing how to make it work. You can have the best makeup in the world, but if you don't know how how to put it on well it won't do much for you. Just thought I'd mention that since I think that's sooo important.

What is the best eyeshadow color/combination for my eye color?
I have hazel eyes. Most of the time they're greenish-brown on the outside, with a goldish circle around my pupil. Many people say they are pretty. But I need your help?!What is the best eyeshadow color/combination for my eye color?
I would check out the eyeshadows by Almay that are supposed to play up your eye color. They also make eyeliners and mascaras too to bring out your eye color. Even if you don't buy their eyeshadows, you can at least get an idea of what eyeshadows will look good with your eye color. What is the best eyeshadow color/combination for my eye color?
try shades of green, purple, and gold.
(obviously not a bright green/purple).
so then u should try putting on greenish brown or hazel but hazel is prettierkick scooter

Mac eyeshadow combinations?
I recently discovered how great mac eyeshadows are. I usually buy 2-3 eyeshadows in one compact, so I know that they already compliment each other.
Since mac are single eyeshadows, what are some good color combinations?
I usually wear any eyeshadow color and they all look good on my skin tone, so it doesn't matter the colors.Mac eyeshadow combinations?
You know there are many tutorials on Eyeshadows and it seems many of them use Mac. You can go to www.youtube.com and click on How tos and see videos of how to put in different combinations of colors by typing in eyeshadow. There is a girl on there and she has so many great color schemes.
Here's one of her videos:
