1. Brush your lid with a base color. The base color is generally lighter than the other colors! In your example, the ';base'; color would be the top color of all of those examples. Brush from your lid to your eyebrow bone - but not your actual brow! This can be done with the brush you're given with the trio.
2. Take the middle color of the trio, generally the darkest color, and using a small eyeliner/eyeshadow brush, sweep this color where your lid creases, this will give your eyelid depth and enhancement. Make sure you don't make the line to thick - just a little ';accentuation'; - you'll probably have to play around with your technique to make it look good, so for practice, do it before you take a shower one night to play around with the look.
3. Take the bottom color, the ';medium'; color, and brush it just above your eyelashes on the top lid, but not OVER the crease color. - You can also use the eyeshadow sponge they give you in the trio for this.
4. To accentuate your bottom lid, use the liner brush and brush the crease color into your bottom lid, right over/below your bottom lashes - it'll give your eyes a smokey effect!
5. Add mascara!

What drugstore brand carries a teal trio eyeshadow that lasts all day?
Basically any drug store brand is going to have a teal trio. Making it stay all day is a different story. Any eyeshadow I've ever used whether it be drugstore brand or a high end designer brand, has creased or worn off after a few hours. To solve this, I use a primer on my eyes. Preferably Urban Decay Primer Potion. But you can make your own with simply body butter, moisturizer, and a bit of foundation.

I prefer quads because I tend to never run completely out of eyeshadow, so I don't need a large amount. When you buy a trio or quad you have more variety to choose from which is nice. However, if it's your favorite shade buy an individual eyeshadow so you always have enough on hand. Single / individual eyeshadow or duos/trios/quads?
I like the multiple color packs because they usually blend together nicely and can be used seperately as well. I like to to use at least two blending colors going from darker and blending to lighter from the lid line up over the lid. I usually only use more than two colors if im going out and want to be a little more daring.
I love avon's quads. I have olive skin so I look good with pinks and greens. It's conveinent because you can shadow, define, and highlight. they have great deals. if you go to www.youravon.com you can find a rep in your area or just order online, thats what I do. my mother in law sells avon. I only wear that and cover girl.
I buy a mix of all. I like singles because sometimes in the set I won't use one or more of the colors and it's a waste. With a bunch of my singles though, I depot them and make my own combos and put them in quads together by a colored look (one for neutrals, purple, pastels, etc).
I like the ones that come are 3-4 shades of one color. that way you can buy the colors you like and you can always mix the different shades of colors together to get whatever color you want and you don't have to buy tons of little ones that tend to get lost.

Either way, whichever you prefer, but the darkest shade is always used for defining and contouring, never as the dominant shade. It's overkill. If you put the dark on your lid, you wouldn't be able to see the medium in the crease.

that's the standard make up for singapore airlines flight stewardesses, those in the blue kebayas.
the lead stewardesses clad in green kebayas have green eyeshow, red lipstick, red nails.
not sure about the chief stewardesses clad in red kebayas.

Singapore airline is one of the best airlines in the world. However, I don't think their idea of make-up for their air stewardesses is.
Since they have a high reputation to uphold, I think physical appearance plays a big part as well. Therefore, I think this make up combo is a bad idea. It can't possibly suit every Singapore air stewardess. I think they should make each one up according to their face type and suitability.Blue eyeshadow, red lipstick, red nails combination?

Definately! I can stand the red lipstick and nails. But, BLUE eyeshadow? It just looks tacky together! They should change it to anything BUT shades of green and blue )! lol

i am a cosmetologist, you should never wear red lipstick and blue eyeshadow
i think it really comes down to what shade of colors the makeup is and also your skin tone. colors don't work the same magic on everyone not even the natural ones. it's just mixing and matching, until you get it just right.
Personally I think that having blue eyeshadow and red lipstick would be a bit much. Usually, if you wear the red lipstick you wear very natural and minimal eye makeup.
Makeup is awesome and I don't think I'll ever say it should go, but, maybe they should rethink this combination!
